Restaurant Siu Siu, located at taman persiaran desa, kuala lumpur, is well known for their seafood feast among local who stay at KL. It is chinese food restaurants, so you can expect to dine in round table with chopsticks. It is my first time going to this place, and I fall in love with their speciality dish.
As a starter, we order few dishes, start with assorted stir fried vegetables. It is most simple dish that depend on freshness of vegetables, control of salt and fire, plus you need to cook in right amount of time and fire in order to bring freshness of ingredient.
Our second dish is fried tofu with bean. I like this one, as the tofu still maintain their freshness and the sauce is just right for the taste. I wish the minced meat is slightly more, but it is ok.
Pork dish, now this is one of my fav that I ate during that night. The meat is soft, and taste sweet, plus it contain right amount of fat and lean meat. I notice some places serve more on lean meat due to healthy reason, but in order to make this dish rocks, more fat is required.
Curry steam fish is also one of their signature dish, which I really enjoy this. Just that the curry taste is slightly stronger to my liking and sourness is just right. I bet if this dish adding more lime will be great.
I am saving the best for last, this curry prawn with fried bun is a must order when you dine at restaurant siu siu. The taste of strong curry goes well with bun. I personally order less rice in order to eat more bun, and it is really outstanding and great taste.
Overall, I would recommend this Restaurant Siu Siu one star, it is good to come in big group of people, or family dinner.
