My first time visiting Setia city mall to meet my good friend, I bring along my son 4 months old to meet him too. Since I am not sure what is good place to eat at Setia City mall, good think I saw Mr Dakgalbi as they do have some eye-catching sign. I had been heard about this place, so I decide to give it a try.

The interior is kinda good to see, we seat at somewhere nearby corridor place. So we can see many people passing by our table. The waiters also running here and there during this lunch hour. I saw in some blog post picture about the cheese ring and I believe this might be the place.

We sat down and order the fried rice set for two. It looks good and it comes with some side dish and extra cheese. I saw we can addons cheese ring, but it is expensive for lunch for two so we decide not to. Well, I can try next time where we come with more people.

When the food come, we do not cook our own, as the waiters will cook for you and there is a way to cook. First cook the chicken, then after that put rice until it about to cook then only they put cheese on top. When rice is cooked, then only they cook the ramen.

Taste wise, you can expect it is spicy and filling. I like the texture of rice, it goes well with the chicken. I believe they are using Korean rice, as it is almost like Japanese rice, kinda short and round.

This place is worth to mention, especially when you are a fan of Korean food. You can expect something spicy from Mr Dakgalbi.
